How do I recover my Gmail account if all else fails?
The answers you entered here attempting to recover your account are not the answers for Google's security questions you could have used.
When you initially sign up for your account you should have added a cell number, added a second recovery email, and set up two-factor authentication. This two-factor will then allow you to establish up to 10 one-time recovery codes that you may then use to access your account.
If you didn't and you have a free account, your only alternative is to create a new account.
People forget passwords all the time and Google makes it easy to recover access.
Of course, if you changed your phone number and email address in 2011 and it is no longer valid, your account will be permanently locked.

Here's an excerpt from the support thread
The only option Google provides for account recovery is to start with Google Accounts; accounts cannot be recovered through this forum or by contacting Google. Assuming you posted here because account recovery is not working, searching for more specific answers and using a known computer/IP address will help. You should also read the following resources:
Account Recovery - Google could not confirm that you own or control this account.
- Google Accounts Community - Gives you a very general idea of how the process works and warns you up front (not all accounts can be recovered).
Gmail Account Recovery - Very detailed step-by-step process to recover an account, explaining almost everything you might be looking for (including how to determine when an account was first opened).
Unfortunately, if you cannot use the method provided to verify account ownership, Google will not give you this method.
