If you have forgotten your Yahoo mail password and the answer to your security question, you can reset your password and sign in to your account by using the Yahoo Password Helper tool or by requesting a password reset from the Yahoo customer support team. Yahoo Password Helper is an online utility through which you can recover your password by sending an authenticating code to the alternate email address or the mobile number besides your account. You cannot use Yahoo Password Helper if you did not always repeat the alternate email address or mobile number when you are creating your account.
Visit the Yahoo Password Helper page, click My password problem, and then select Next to move to the next page. Enter your Yahoo ID on Next. Your Yahoo ID is that part of your Yahoo mail address that recognizes the symbol. Select either an alternate email address or a mobile number depending on where you want the Yahoo verification code to be emailed to you.
Enter the security code that Yahoo sent to your mobile number on the following screen and click Next. If you selected Code via email, or click the link in the message that Yahoo sent you. Follow the prompts to reset your password. Submit a support request to Yahoo Customer Support through the online form for Minecraft.
Go to the Yahoo Help page and from the list of topics choose Password and Login. Click on the login excuse that you received by email; your Yahoo ID is already typed in the field and you click the "Submit" button. Click the Email icon. Fill in the form above the "Create Request" button. Wait for the Yahoo Support team to look over the questions and e-mail you with more instructions.
Enter "Unknown" into the search field for "Security Answer", and if you don't trust the results of "Security Question", either. If someone hacks your account, changes your password or forgets it, this way they'll not access your Yahoo account easily.
Fortunately, Yahoo has managed to recover a strong password, many of which enable you to recover your password and log in to your account in a matter of minutes. Visit your Yahoo! sign-in page. Below the sign-in box, click "I can't access my account." Select "Forgot my password" and click "Next." Type your Yahoo ID and complete the Captcha code. Click Next.
